Easy Release - Model Releases App Reviews

Description says forms/fields are completely customizable but fails to mention this is only after another in-app purchase. Would have been nice to know that the app is actually $15 if you want to make use it properly as described. Feel ripped off. There are other much cheaper apps that allow many more options for customization.

This is the ultimate model release app. I cant think of feature they dont have. Awesome work guys. I used this app a few time a week and its always a Charm!!!!

Stopped working on iOS 7. The screen goes black when I launch the app.

I have tested out every IOS model release that was currently available and this one came out on top due to ease of use and the ability to customize. Add in the fact that there is iCloud sync which is a must as you wouldnt want to loose your device and have all your paperwork gone. Also the developers keep this App up to date which means they still care about the App. There is always room for improvement however, in this case the interface could use some more polish.

I have been using this app for all my photoshoots. Yesterday I went to a shoot with 5 models, didnt bring backup paper releases, and the app wouldnt work on my iPad or phone. I deleted it, reinstalled it, restarted both devices, and it wouldnt work. I can no longer trust this app for important jobs and have installed a different model release app.

This is a great app for photographers, but I gave it a 4 isted of 5 because I would like to sync it between iPad & iPhone

Doesnt work on iPhone 5c. It worked for a short time, tried staring it today for a shoot and nothing. Not good for an app that touts being paperless. They need to update this paid app. Im going back to paper - more reliable.

When my other release app crashed and burned after an Apple update, I found Easy Release. Its easy to customize and pretty cool actually. Worth the money even if our dollar is down about 25 cent US.

Just purchased and used for the first couple shoots. Love it so far.

Hard to believe there isnt a field for an address? Or is this extra on top of the extra pro version I just paid for? Not impressed yet....

DO NOT USE THIS APP IF RUNNING IOS 10.x or newer. This app is completely broken on iOS 10.x. It appears the developer has not updated it to use the current keyboard APIs or ported it to the 64bit libraries. This results in UI errors that has critical fields off screen or not clearly visible. Its a shame, because its was easily one of the best release apps available. The website for the app used to have an admonishment to iOS 10 beta users to "not update work critical tools", but that seems to have been removed since iOS 10 went gold.

I checked today this app and found cheaper in Japanese app store. Instead of 1200yen it was 850yen. I didnt think long and purchased. It is very easy to use and the most important is, it has multilingual release agreement. In my case I needed in Japanese. It would be good to add assignment release for assistant photographers. ( 2nd shooter - work for hire)

This app is pretty handy for professional photographers who require model releases. The release itself comes in a bunch of different languages, covers pretty much everything, allows you to add an addendum if necessary and is accepted by major stock photography companies like Getty and Alamy. On the other hand I think being asked to pay extra for additional features is ridiculous given the apps initial price.
