Easy Release - Model Releases App Reviews

The app is very handy and has a great potential. The things I dont like is that yo may have to start from scratch if you make a mistake filling out a release and want to correct something. Certain fields are impossible to type into and you have to pull contacts from your phone first. On iOS 10 the app crashes

Useful application but needs to be updated for iOS 10

After I updated iOS last, the navigation bar at the top of the screen blocks the text fields that youre supposed to fill out. In other words, the app does not work at all. Ive emailed customer support and not received a response. So, Ive been using this app happily for over a year and now it just doesnt work. I have an iPhone 6s Plus with the latest iOS, so I cant be the only person having this issue. Also theres a bug that causes the program to crash if you try to send more than a couple model releases at a time.

Old phone died and I got an iPhone 7 well it comes with iOS 10. So now every time I need to have a release signed I have to use my iPad.

Much easier than trying to deal with paper releases. One star deducted because the interface and flow can be a little quirky. EDIT Entering basic information broke with new iOS. Simple reformatting would fix it, but developer dragging their feet.

This is a great business app to track and keep organized all of my model releases. It covers all the bases and my clients love it. They can get a copy via email and everyone is on the same page.

Since os10 came out, it looks like they are no longer supporting this app. Most fields cant be seen and thus renders the app unusable.

Love the app! Use it often. Great tool!

Sadly, this awesome app is now no longer working correctly with the newest iOS 10 update. Moving on to a different app. :( Michael

Putting an announcment not to upgrade to iOS 10 is unaccesptable. You had months with the beta, and you cant blame iOS10 for an app that hasnt seen meaningful updates since 2014. Easy Release was the best way to do mobile releases on iOS, but it is not worth the money unless they update it for new hardware and new software. Its been a shame to watch this one rot.

On my iPad this app worked fine. On my iPad pro, ability to see what I am typing has disappeared. Typed text does not show until I have left the edit function. App may be simply out of date with the current release of ios. Please fix, this was a useful app.

Some recent update of app rendered it useless. Havent been able to get one contract signed. Freezes and closes

I have used various apps before but this app kicks butt!!!! hands-down, bar none, this is the coolest app ever!!!! Again, well worth the money spent and well worth the time put into it... again an awesome app!!! Must have!!

Fixed the iOS 10 issue! Still havent tried it yet, but Im sure its ok now!

Isnt working properly. Cant email release to myself or the model/property. Also wont let me report it as a bug in the app. Sent the developer an email regarding these issues weeks ago and never heard back. Time to move on to another model release app.

Model releases are so vital. This app works very well. I like the choices of different releases. Once signed, it will email a PDFs to both you and the model/client. It also remembers the model info in case you do a new session and need a new release. It will import all the info so you dont need to re- enter everything. Solid.

Im a newborn photographer in a hospital, love the ease of the release and I was able to customize for my company.

Crashes often and, when I try to email it to myself, it says cant email from this device. My device is my iPhone.

All in all I like Easy Release, but the thing that I dislike, is the amount of screens the user has to navigate before arriving at the signature page. Furthermore, if the user makes a mistake you cant go back and edit it, it makes the whole release irrelevant and you have to start again. A paper release is more user friendly. Make the app as easy as a paper release and weve got something. Furthermore it can crash your whole phone, this has happened more than once. I think this is a result of there being too many steps in the signing process. Thanks for starting the technology though, I just hope it gets easier to use on a shoot with lots of models and kids. Models find it tiresome, so I dont enjoy it because they grumble to me about it.
